Year 2 had a fantastic time on their trip to Fairlop Park and Owls Play Centre! The children enjoyed plenty of fun and adventure, explored the play areas with big smiles, and topped off the day with a delicious ice cream treat. They were wonderfully behaved and made us all proud!

In EYFS, the children are learning how to care for our class pets. Giant African Snails! They love observing their movements, exploring their shells, and helping to keep their habitat clean and cosy. The snails spark lots of curiosity and thoughtful questions, supporting the children's understanding of living things and how to care for them gently and responsibly.

Diversity Day 2025 21st May 2025

Today we celebrated Diversity Day at school, and it was a wonderful celebration of our different cultures and backgrounds. Children and staff came dressed in their traditional or national clothing, proudly sharing a part of who they are. After school, families and staff treated us to a fantastic range of dishes from around the world. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day so special!

The children were filled with excitement and wonder as they watched ducklings hatch from their eggs right in the classroom! It was an incredible experience seeing the little beaks peck through the shells and the fluffy ducklings emerge. The children were fascinated by the process and showed such care and curiosity, asking thoughtful questions and observing quietly. It was a truly magical moment that brought learning to life.

Cricket Competiton 9th May 2025

Cricket tournament at Roding Valley High School. All 12 children represented Limes Farm Infants superbly. Their Cricket skills that they have been learning really did show and one of our teams scored 100 runs in one game. They really did give it their all against 3 other schools and have reached the finals at Loughton Cricket Club in June.

Our EYFS children have been busy little gardeners! They’ve been planting sunflower seeds and beans in clear bags so they can watch the roots and shoots grow. It’s been so exciting to see their curiosity and wonder as they observe the changes each day!
