A common language of emotional wellbeing and mental health
Discussing mental health should be a positive experience and, if done well, can reduce the stigma associated with mental health difficulties.
Our Let’s Talk resources are our way of using a common language and understanding of SEMH to support our children and young people.

Nurture Programme
We are pleased to let you know that the Family Links Nurture Programme will be starting on Friday 6th March at Alderton Junior School.
The programme will be delivered by our Trust Family Support Worker and is a supportive, friendly course designed to help parents and carers develop positive behaviour strategies, build strong family relationships, and gain practical tools to support children’s emotional wellbeing.
If you are interested in taking part or would like to book a space, please contact Karen Bowden using the details provided on the leaflet.
Places may be limited, so please get in touch as soon as possible if you would like to attend.

🎨✨ Easter Drawing Competition! ✨🎨
We are excited to share that the Community Champions Team, sponsored by LF&GH Community Group, are running an Easter Drawing Competition for our children!
🖍️ What to do:
Children are invited to create an Easter-themed picture using pen, pencil or paint.
📅 Start date: 16th March
📅 Closing date: Friday 26th March
🏆 Prizes: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes available!
📢 Winners will be announced on 13th April.
✏️ Please make sure your child’s name, age, form/year group and a contact number are written clearly on the back of the artwork.
📦 Entries can be placed in the school office collection box.
This is open to both Infants and Juniors, and we would love to see as many entries as possible!

Chigwell Community Pantry
Dear Parents and Carers,
We’d like to share information about the Chigwell Community Pantry, a local initiative offering support to families and individuals in our community.
The pantry provides a wide range of food items, including canned goods, fresh produce, and essentials, at a low cost:
• £5 for up to 13 food items
• £7.50 for up to 18 items
(Additional items are available at a small cost.)
📍 Location:
Chigwell Parish Community Hub,
Hainault Road, IG7 6QZ
🕒 Opening Times:
Tuesdays: 10am – 1:30pm
Thursdays: 10am – 2:30pm
There’s no need to book—just walk in, and you’ll be welcomed with kindness and no judgement.
Donations and volunteers are always appreciated.
